In this video we dive into what happened to EPCOT Center. From the early days of a planned city through to the park we have today, EPCOT has meant many things along the way. While initially a plan by Walt Disney to build an experimental community and city, EPCOT only became a reality in 1982 as a theme park in Walt Disney World, as a sort of permanent World's Fair. Following Walt Disney's heavy involvement in the 1964 Worlds Fair, Imagineers years later brought the Epcot idea to life in something that Walt would be proud of.

But the park has changed a lot to this day, with the likes of Horizons, World of Motion and more pavilions closing over the years. However, we still have versions of Future World and World Showcase that still resemble their original versions, albeit with some changes.
