The Amazon Echo is a lot more useful and convenient than I would have guessed, and was one of very few things my ex didn't steal from the house while I was in the hospital. It's better/faster at controlling Insteon lights than their own app, and is great for music, audio books, and various tools when working with your hands.

Mine just suddenly stopped working (unlike the last one that I spilled a drink on, see my YouTube video). The power supply was putting out the proper voltage, so I decided to dig deeper. Dig with me.
