Backpacking the Crown Point Loop, a ~20-mile hiking trail in the Hoover Wilderness is an awesome, overnight hiking experience. It is easily accessible from Bridgeport, California, and is probably one of the last places in California where you can get those big, breathtaking views associated with Yosemite and the Hoover Wilderness as well as some of the best camping options in the Sierra Nevada.
Come along with me while I walk the Crown Point Loop, passing by Barney Lake with its amazing beach, Peeler Lake, lush Yosemite meadows, the spectacular Snow Lake, Crown Lake, and finally Robinson Lakes.
