Armenia's acting PM Nikol Pashinyan stated no decision was made with respect to the future price of the Russian natural gas being supplied to Armenia.
“The discussions on gas will continue in working order,” he added. “But, in general, I’m optimistic, and I hope that there will be desirable developments for us here as well, or at least there will be no undesirable developments.”
Spokesperson for the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said the sides agreed to intensify talks on gas issues. Speaking about the timing of talks, the press secretary said “we are under time-pressure.”
The later reports said Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller and Acting Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan discussed 2019 gas supplies to Armenia.

PUTIN CONGRATULATES KOCHARYAN
Russian President Vladimir Putin has issued a congratulatory message to Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan on the New Year and Christmas holidays.
Warmly congratulating the retired President, the Russian President also wished Kocharyan good health, strong spirit, and fortitude.
