The Suhr Silent Single Coil System is a revolutionary way to run your single coil pickups. You get all the tone of single coils but without the 60 cycle hum!
No special pickups are required (if your middle pickup is RW/RP you will have noise in positions 2 & 4). The system can be installed one of two ways. Custom Suhr guitars can have the system installed in the body. Otherwise if you have a guitar from a different manufacturer, you can buy the Silent Single Coil Backplate System which replaces your current back plate and has a few wires that run to your electronics.
The guitar used in the demo is a Suhr Classic fitted with an On/Off switch on the tone pot which disengages the SSC system when pulled. This will demonstrate not only how effective the SSC system is at canceling noise, but also how the true tone of the pickups is present whether the SSC system is on or off.
