Breadfruit sabzi
Ingredients:
1 tbsp of oil
1 tsp of urad dal
1 tsp of mustard seeds
1 chilli
curry leaves
Breadfruit-1
1 glass of water
1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
1 tsp of chilli powder
salt per taste
Jaggery(optional)
1/2 cup of grated coconut
Preparation:
Peel the skin and inner core of breadfruit and chop them into small pieces.
Dip them in water.
Take a pan add 1 tbsp of oil, 1 tsp of urad dal, 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1 chilli and fry until it turns brown in colour.
Then add curry leaves and breadfruit pieces.
To this add 1 glass of water, 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of chilli powder, salt per taste, and jaggery if its required.
Cook around 10 min and then make sure that the breadfruit pieces are cooked neatly.
If yes then add 1/2 cup of grated coconut and mix well.
Serve with rice and ghee.
