The truth: The watch is as beautiful looking as some really expensive watches, it is a "chinese"tourbillon which is really just a balance with a suspended bridge and gives some misconceived notions.
Here they are: The watch has a tourbillon style balance but is not a grand complication. The date changes at midnight (12:10ish). The day of the week turns fully over a 3:30ish AM. The year is set by a small button on the left manually with a paper clip or other small pointed object. The month is set by the upper (large) button on the right. You will have to click it each month as the months changes(it does not change itself). Same norm for the date on short months(click the lower large button on the right). No different many other watches. For under $200 this is a masterpiece by price. You don't kill yourself if you drop it....or God forbid break it.
It is a mechanical automatic movement so hitting something hard with your arm can very likely may adjust the time. Just reset it do not get me wrong it's not cheap it's a non-battery powered watch. If you lay around or sit down alot give it a quick 10 turns. It has a max 44hr power reserve so if you don't wear it for 2 days you will may be resetting your day and date and time.
It's a bit of extra work, I wouldn't wear it intentionally in water but seems safe if your friend pushes you into a pool with your clothes on. It's more of a safety than activity.
With mechanical watches such as this expect to be minus 10 seconds each day. Even some of the best mechanical watches as I've read are only this accurate. A one minute adjustment each week may be neccessary for more direct time keeping and atleast once a month alongside of setting the date.
Comparably this watch has more aesthetics than most complications(most). If a watch was actually going to get notice by looks with the addition of a tourbillon style balance and not someone suggesting it's worth your house, this watch would actually do it. (Just make sure you pick the right color😉)
