NATO Allied leaders agreed to the most comprehensive defense plans since the end of the Cold War at the Vilnius Summit in July. To execute the plans, NATO is putting 300,000 troops on higher readiness, backed by substantial air and naval power. Allies will continue to train and exercise together on land, air, and sea to test and maintain our readiness and ability to defend.
