In this video we make a GSM (cellular) upgrade to one of my previous electronics projects, the Laser Tripwire Alarm (Security System) using an Arduino Nano and SIM800L GSM SIM card module.
The main proto-board features an existing light-sensitive (LDR) alarm circuit which works in conjunction with a laser diode to detect whether or not an intruder has tripped it. The board features a couple of NE555 timer ICs and a LM358 comparator.
