The Matsuda Cherry Blossom Festival showcases early-blooming kawazuzakura alongside vibrant yellow canola flowers. The colorful combination is a sure sign that spring is on the way! I arrived early on a sunny Wednesday morning and was fortunate to see Fujisan for most of the day!
If you are planning to go it is a short train ride on the Odakyu Odawara Line coming from Tokyo and can easily be a day trip!
I visited on 2/22 but the blossoms were a few days away from peak bloom. So there is still time to visit them this year!
Open from 2/6 to 2/28
9:00AM to 5:00PM
