Soy sauce is one of the oldest seasonings in human history, as it has been used continuously for nearly 2500 years in China and now all over the world. As soy sauce spreads to different parts of the world, local culture and environment have influenced the production of soy sauce. Many different kinds of soy sauces are now found on the market, and they have become increasingly available. One of these soy sauces is commonly known as the dark soy sauce, which has a darker color and different flavors. These soy sauces are useful in cooking different types of dishes, particular in cooking teriyaki chicken. In this video, I offer an introduction of the dark soy sauce and its common usage.
