Today we will be cooking Trinidad Fried Rice which is one of our favourite dishes. This rice is perfect accompanied by some BBQ meats.
Ingredients Needed:
3 cups long grain rice (cook the rice for about 11 mins as you need it to be cooked but not soft)
4 medium carrots diced or grated whichever you prefer
1 tin sweet corn
1 small/medium onion diced
1 cup frozen peas (optional)
2 spring onions (optional)
1 tsp Italian herbs or and mixed herbs
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
5 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 tablespoon dark soy sauce more if needed
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
Sprinkle of brown sugar
With this recipe you can add veg like broccoli, sweet peppers or whatever veg you have available.
