Color Passthrough On the Oculus Mega Quest 2.X Using OTG USB Webcams And the nExt Camera app

Brainstorming ideas for better use of OTG USB cameras with the Quest 2 headset

The blurry camera in the background is another 360rize 360Penguin and that is about what it would probably look like as a passthrough camera, maybe a little better. It isn't a perfect solution, but it might be with a different camera and a dedicated app.

The Foxus camera is an example of what could be possible. Can we at least build a web browser into an OTG USB camera app specifically made for the Quest to provide a productive color passthrough experience?

This guy used the wrong connections to make an old phone a passthrough camera, but his connections were awful. right idea, terrible execution. check it out!
