Just a quick scribble I did after I had some ideas I wanted to mess around with. I had fun with it, if you like Scream 1, I hope you enjoy it too. I really love Scream, it always charms me how Ghostface is, all things considered, quite terrible at his job, but somehow still ends up taking people out anyway.
Meanwhile, inspiringly, Sidney breaks pretty much every rule a Final Girl would normally follow to survive a slasher movie and comes out on top in the end. As she says, those rules might apply normally, but not in her movie. To resonate with Sidney's more subversive nature to surviving her horror flick, I also cut off the end of the song, which would normally conclude with the vicious sounds of murder as a slasher claims another victim. Instead, Sidney's quickdraw stops him in his track, and so the song ends there too!
