Wednesday saw by-polls for 13 Assembly seats being held across seven states: Bihar, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh.

But, in Uttarakhand's Manglaur area, a clash at a polling station led to many individuals being injured as workers from various political parties confronted each other. Congress leaders such as former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Yashpal Arya, and Congress MP Imran Masood denounced the incident of violence.
