Amid an ongoing search operation, Jammu and Kashmir Police said that five foreign terrorists were killed while they were trying to infiltrate into the Valley through the Line of Control in Kupwara district. The additional director general of police Vijay Kumar confirmed the deaths and said this was the first major infiltration attempt this year in Kashmir from the Kupwara sector.
