Ukraine's new parliament dominated by pro-Europe mainstream parties, according to official results
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk's People's Front finished in first place in the parliamentary elections, according to the electoral authorities. Yatsenyuk's pro-European bloc won 22 per cent of the vote, closely followed by President Petro Poroshenko's grouping at 21 per cent.
Other mainstream bloc's gaining parliamentary representation included one led by former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko and another controlled by Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi.
