So from middle school to 3rd year of HS, I wore cat ears.
While this video doesn't get super into every experience from that, it summarizes my experience during this phase.

Also, in the video I say that you should persevere though the hard times. Don't be afraid to do BOTH and stick up for yourself and persevere. Everyone's situations are different and you should do what you feel is right for you. Just remember to be respectful and be kind. Also don't be afraid to mess up, it's alright to slip up - just learn to do better from every experience.
