Woah! I think this mower was built around this belt! Not sure if cub cadet ever intended for this belt to be replaced before the mower was replaced, but here we are! Hopefully this video will help someone! Most other mtds are similar, but this I-drive is a bit more difficult to replace than most Other cub cadet and MTD made mowers are going to be similar to this until you get to the dual rear hydro units. If you own the mower, or have permission from the owner, I would most definitely cut an access hole to access the nut on that idler. If I had a welder, I would totally tack that nut into place.
