Hellooo beautiful people! 🩰🩷 welcome to the second episode of the Balletcore Diaries. I'm so happy that you are here. I created this series to document my journey of being an adult ballet dancer and getting back to ballet in a happy and healthy way after quitting in my teens. This episode is super super special since I achieved a milestone that I had been envisioning for literally years... I WENT BACK ON POINTE!! 💪⭐️ If you are new to ballet, basically pointes are the shoes used by female ballerinas to appear more like floating in the stage. To get into pointes it's important to develop the strength in your legs first since it requires a lot extra effort to dance with them. I had done pointes before but was scared to do it again since returning to ballet classes... however I finally felt as prepared as I could and decided to take the jump! I'm so happy and proud I did it! It was a *HUMBLING* experience, and more difficult than I thought it would be, but I loved it still. Very happy to have shared this with you. I hope you enjoy and let me know what other things you would like in the ballet core diaries.
