New Delhi has been ranked as the world's 'most polluted capital' for the second consecutive year. Dhaka, Bangladesh's capital comes second and N'Djamena has the third spot. Of the 15 most polluted cities in Central and Southern Asia in 2021, 12 were in India. These startling facts came to light in the 2021 World Air Quality Report. According to the report, no single country has met WHO's annual air quality guidelines.
