This is a short from our free audiobook for children, a story by W W Denslow called The Three Bears. It is very similar to Goldilocks and The Three Bears but Denslow was an author known to create alternative children's tales to the popular tales at the time by removing from the tales any negative seeming parts. Denslow wanted the stories to entail only the positive for children's enjoyment and so rewrote a lot of the popular childrens tales at that time. It appears Goldilocks and Three Bears was one of them and he named his version Golden Hair and The Three Bears promoting long term friendship and harmony and the greater good for all involved! Some may say this was too idealist and unrealistic, however, the tale was to us just as entertaining and we wanted to bring to the channel for children and adult's enjoyment. So what does Golden Hair do next after she has stumbled upon The Three Bears home?
