The Aston Martin Valiant is what happens when an F1 racer asks an automaker to build them a road car. Fernando Alonso turned to the Q division of Aston to develop a V12-powered machine with racing suspension, lightweight parts, and a manual gearbox.
The Aston Martin Valiant, an ultra-exclusive, track-focused, road-legal special edition, stands as a testament to the brand's legacy of creating highly collectible models. Developed through the bespoke service, Q by Aston Martin, the Valiant was born from a personal commission by Formula One® driver Fernando Alonso. This masterpiece features a 745 horsepower 5.2-liter Twin-Turbo V12 engine paired with a bespoke six-speed manual transmission. The Valiant's design and engineering are tailored for those who seek the ultimate driving experience, both on the track and on the road.
The Valiant showcases a bespoke chassis specification with Multimatic ASV dampers and recalibrated electronics, enhancing its track capabilities. Its all-carbon fiber bodywork reduces weight and increases downforce, while the pared-back, lightweight interior ensures a focused driving experience. The spectacular styling reimagines the iconic 'Muncher' Le Mans racer, utilizing cutting-edge materials and technology. Key components are crafted from magnesium, titanium, and advanced 3D printing techniques, achieving further weight savings. Limited to just 38 units globally, the Valiant will make its public debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, driven by Fernando Alonso.
