15 April 2015 - Just before sunset, dozens of rhesus macaque monkeys descend from the mountains to one of the temples at the Galtaji temple complex and pilgrimage site outside of the city of Jaipur, in the state of Rajasthan, in India. It's for this reason that this complex is known as the "Monkey Temple".
A tuktuk dropped us off at the base of the mountain, then we hiked up to the Sun Temple and through the pass and into the valley where the temples were located. It was a spectacular site to gradually see the buildings and water tanks of the complex because they are hidden from view while descending to them!
