Mix together dry ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

In a separate bowl mix together:
1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

Add one egg and 1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix well

Add 3/4 cup M&M's and fold in.

Cover with plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.

Roll in 1 1/2 inch balls and place on cookie sheet at least 2 inches apart.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 9-11 minutes until they just barely start to brown.

Add additional M&M's to the top when they first come out of the oven.
