Tom Brooks and his son Morgan are the heroes who rescued 2-year-old Aiden McCarthy from the Highland Park shooting. The father-son duo wants the world to know that the toddler's father did everything he could to protect his son. As the panicked crowd scrambled to get away from the shooting, Morgan saw the toddler pinned under his wounded dad, Kevin McCarthy. They were able to pull the boy from under his father by his arms. Although Aiden was covered in his dad's blood, they say he was calm.
