This machine retails for $700, the extended 3-year warantee is another $100. Add a battery backup, and carbon air filters for the drum, and with tax, over $900. Yes, that's a lot of money, but really what is the alternative? The Leo's Loo Too? I have one of those also and it's very difficult to say which one wins, but they are remarkably similar, but the Leo costs less, and has a smarter drum sifting design. Regardless I'm very happy with both machines, and my 3 cats seem to love them too. They were all kittens and didn't want to spend the next 18ish years scooping so this solves that problem.
