After a couple of days of meetings in New York, I had to use my new instrument rating for real on the way home. I experienced my first IMC (on my own), with nearly 2 hours of solid instrument conditions on my 2.3 hour flight home. Join me as I manage my first real instrument flight, learning some lessons along the way, and learning just how valuable ATC is, especially for those of us in little planes!
