Kiss live at the Fleet Center, Boston, Massachusetts, November 12th 1998, Psycho Circus Tour
After my begging for requests I have received many, and I can only thank you guys for that! I just had to upload this one, I was really in the mood of listening to a Psycho tour concert! After this, I'll upload Miami '76 and Rome '80!
Moving on! Well, as I may have said before, this period, the reunion '96 to '00 period, lacks many things; Despite giving us the classic formation, the thing we had been all waiting since 1983, it was pretty noticiable how the lineup had been deteriorated over the years; Peter is much, much slower, Ace looks bored, Paul can't stop talking (That whole ''Rock and roll capital'' or ''Animals in the crowd'' bullshit) and Gene's voice is too rough. Of course, I can NEVER say these shows are awful or bad or crappy, because the energy my friend, is superb. The people are the best, always! Not mattering the city in question, everyone in the crowd loves every minute, and I truly would have LOVED to be there!
Well, despite that on-going power that emanates from the crowd and the band, I do, however, rank this one as a weak show, since Peter's drumming is very poor. It does, however have its strong points, mainly present at the ''classic'' songs; Black Diamond, Detroit Rock City, Shout It Out Loud (Peter's strongest moment), Love Gun (With a fantastic playing by Ace) and Into the Void are the most cheerful moments at the show, the rest, despite being very good, is not exactly fantastic. I do make an observation of the redemption of Beth, which, despite having the usual recorded orchestra, touched me very much, one of the most beautiful that I've heard, hats off to Peter! Enjoy!
