Dim sum, also known as dian xin in Chinese, is a Cantonese-style food like served in small portions similar to tapas. We've included this dim sum meat & shrimp roll or beancurd skin roll recipe in our repertoire because we know some of you enjoy dim sum. These rolls are one of the popular dim sum choices, with shrimp and pork stuffing wrapped in beancurd skin and deep-fried until crispy. Unlike what you'll find outside, Roland packed a lot of filling into each roll - so good! This recipe yielded 14 rolls, but you can make more by reducing the amount of filling used in each roll.
