Jesse asks Doug if he was called by God or if he had to go to school for it. He feels God taught him through school and teaches him through other people. Although he’s born again, he still sins and suggests Jesse does too. He says when Christ said to “Be perfect,” he was saying to be perfect in love. He seems to say we break away from bondage to sin after each time we sin. He rejects a lot of Jesse’s premises.
Doug asks about Trump advocating for anger, since Jesse speaks against anger. Jesse says he’s never seen Trump angry. He’s a nationalist, putting the country first. He sets an example of courage.
Doug is not the head of his wife. He says the “head” is “partners” with the nerves and body. Jesse says NO, “partner” is a gay term. Don’t call your wife your partner. Doug thinks that’s just wordplay.
Doug supports homosexuality as “love” coming from God. He doesn’t want to say he supports abortion, but thinks it should be legal. He didn’t vote for The Great White Hope, but voted for Lying, Crooked Hillary!
He doesn’t support illegal immigration, but doesn’t like Jesse calling the aliens “trash” people! Was Jesus wrong for calling people bag of bones, children of Satan, etc.? No. He calls Trump a liar, but just because he thinks that doesn’t mean it’s true! He’ll come back on and wants to interview Jesse on his show.
