Eid Special Dumba Shinwari Karahi Written Recipe With Directions
Ingredients:
-Dumba Meat 1 Kg
-Cooking oil 1 ½ cup
-Salt (namak) 1 tbs
-Water (pani) 1 ¼ cup or as required
-Tomatoes (tamatar) ½ Kg (cut the tomato into 4 parts)
-Ginger garlic (adrak lehsan) paste 1 ½ tbs
-Green chilies (hari mirch) 3-4
-Water (pani) ¾ cup
-Yogurt (dahi) 3-4 tbs
-Black pepper (kali mirch) powder ¼ tsp
-Red chili flakes (adh khuti lal mirch) ½ tsp
-Cumin seeds (zeera) powder ½ tsp
-Karahi masala ½ tsp
-Dried coriander (dhania) 1 tsp crushed
Directions:
-In a pan, add meat, cooking oil, and salt. Cook it on a medium flame for 7-8 mins.
-Add water, cover, and cook it on a medium flame for 40 mins until meat is tender.
-Add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, green chilies and water. Mix well.
-Cover and cook it for 8 mins on high flame.
-Remove the skin of tomatoes.
-In a bowl, add yogurt, black pepper powder, red chili flakes, cumin seeds powder, karahi masala, and dried coriander. Mix well.
-On medium flame, add this prepared mixture and cook well.
-Remove extra oil.
-Garnish with green chilies and ginger.
-Serve with roti or nan. Enjoy!
