Hezbollah thieves scaled an Israeli military tower along the border and successfully absconded with surveillance equipment. Numerous images and videos circulating on social media captured them defiantly raising flags and dismantling military cameras from the tower. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that the suspects had climbed the security barrier near Metula but did not breach Israeli territory or pose a danger to local residents. The IDF promptly removed the flags from the tower, while the fate of the stolen cameras remains uncertain. A photograph revealed the tower devoid of equipment, leaving the question of who removed the cameras unanswered.
