Snapshot 13w10b broke this, but there is a simple fix, just put a piece of Redstone Dust on the block right behind the Dropper.
100% reliable automatic Item Elevator in 13w09c snapshot using the old school piston & glass technique (no mass droppers and clicking hell). 3x4x4.
Sorry about the general video and (no) sound quality, this is my first time. I wanted to put out what I think is currently one of the best item elevators out there while everybody is still complaining about the broken/fixed comparators. :)
