This guy’s everything you could want out of a mid-‘30s Gibson archtop. It’s got power, cut, snap, and a nice, chunky, velvety, lower-mids-centric voice. You can hear it compress and shoot straight out like it’s spring-boarding. That’s how it feels to “drive” the nice carved-tops!
Anyhow, it appears to be all-original and after a level/dress of the frets, some tweaking to the bridge saddle, and setup work, it’s now playing spot-on and ready to go with an original hard case, too.
