She shares how these are used to prevent clumping and sticking during manufacturing to reduce costs. She demonstrates how they work using Magnesium Stearate, a widely used excipient in not only nutraceuticals but pharmaceuticals too. She talks about Silicon Dioxide, another common flow agent, discussing how it has been shown to cause auto-immune dysfunction. Dr. Janine shares how Titanium Dioxide, known as TiO2, E171 or Titanium White was banned in France in January 2020 and more recently in the EU. Lastly, Dr. Janine also looks at Talc and Polyethylene Glycol as supplement ingredients you don’t want to take.
