Phoenix PD officer Mark O'Connell and K9 "Salsa" are both retiring this year. Salsa is a 46-pound German Shorthaired Pointer specialized in explosives detection. Officer O'Connell will officially adopt his partner Salsa when she retires in July. He retires in December so they can spend as much time together!
