Small ships of the Navy in Malta Harbour. Salute being fired from fort base on the island. Ship entering the harbour. Firing again. Destroyer entering the harbour. Small boat (Pinnance?) draws alongside the landing stage away from battleship. Sir Samuel Hoare lands and is greeted. Inspects marines lined up. Marines and sailors marchpast at the salute past dais. Sir Samuel HOare and captain seat themselves on deck. Destoyer steams past. Destroyers and cruisers steam past. Destroyers steam round. Submarines at sea on surface. Group of officers on deck.
