To Make Peanut Chikki
Peanuts - 2 Cups
Jaggery - 2 Cups (Buy: [ Ссылка ])
Water - 1/2 Cup
Cardamom Powder - 1 Tsp
Ghee - 4 Tsp (Buy: [ Ссылка ])
Method:
1. Roast the peanuts for 5 mins and keep aside. Make sure to remove the skin if you are using the ones with skin.
2. Take water in a saucepan. Add jaggery. Cook until the jaggery is fully melted.
3. Strain the melted jaggery to a wide pan and cook.
4. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
5. Once jaggery is of the desired consistency, add ghee and mix.
6. Then add the roasted peanuts and mix well.
7. Grease a tin with ghee and keep.
8. Transfer the peanut jaggery mixture to the greased tin and even it all out.
9. After the mixture cools down, remove it from the tin and cut it into bite sized pieces.
10. That's all, yummy peanut chikki is ready to be served, it can be stored for about a week in an air tight container.
Peanut chikki is an Indian traditional sweet snack that can be made easily and enjoyed for a healthy snacking. The main ingredients in this recipe are peanuts and jaggery.
