J Cavness touches on OSHA's Asbestos In Construction Regulation and what it's all about. When employees come into contract with Asbestos containing materials at a worksite they will be regulated by the Asbestos in Construction Regulation found in 29 CFR 1926.1101. OSHA will require that either the building owner or contractor identify asbestos and to notify those who may disturb it. Then the employer is required to conduct an exposure assement and air monitoring samples must be taken as the work is being performed.
