The Golfer’s Elbow test is used to help diagnose medial epicondylitis, more commonly referred to as golfer’s elbow.
How to Perform Golfer’s Elbow Test
Performance: To perform the Golfer’s Elbow test, the examiner should palpate the medial epicondyle with one hand and passively supinate the patient’s forearm while extending the elbow and wrist fully.
How to Interpret Golfer’s Elbow Test
Positive Finding: The test is considered positive if the patient experiences pain over the medial epicondyle during the exam, suggesting symptoms of golfer’s elbow or medial epicondylitis.
