Vedic Chants|2007

Shlokas on Lalitha Devi is the sixth offering from Pragnya as part of its Amruthavarsha series. It is a compilation of popular chants and hymns from Vedic literature dedicated to Lalitha Devi, another form of Goddess Parvathi and a popular goddess in the Hindu pantheon. The chants available in this compilation include, among others, the Lalitha Sahasranama, a hymn comprising 1008 names of Goddess Lalitha. Like all other titles in the Amruthavarsha series, Shlokas on Lalitha Devi is unique because it uses simple English transliterations and supporting vocals along with the English meanings for each shloka to drive home to the listener the importance of pronouncing correctly during chanting.
