Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has apologised to a young woman who said she was raped in the parliament building two years ago. He has promised a thorough investigation into the government's workplace culture. Ms Brittany Higgins said she was raped in the office of current Defence Minister Linda Reynolds by a colleague who also worked for the ruling Liberal party. She said she reported the incident to a superior and spoke with police, but eventually decided against making a formal complaint because she was concerned it would damage her career prospects.
