The MiniTemp is a small, battery-operated temperature monitor designed specifically for use in your veterinary patients, no matter their size or species.
Its portability means you can place it next to the anaesthesia machine, on the patient trolley and even next to the patient kennel. It comes with a tilt stand so the monitor sits upright, meaning you can glance at it easily from the other side of the room. And there’s no need to worry about it falling from the table when you’re rushing around a busy practice – we’ve drop tested it for you in its light blue rubber boot.
From a distance, you can tell if the patient’s temperature is within the Comfort Zone Temperature. If the LED light above the large display flashes green, then the patient’s temperature is between 36.6°C and 39.6°C. If it flashes red, then the temperature is outside this range.
As hypothermia is one of the most common complications we can see in our veterinary patients, continuous temperature monitoring can quickly establish their trend so you can start active warming as soon as possible!
