Two of the most popular amphibious airplanes come head to head for competing flight reviews. The Aero Adventure Aventura II and Progressive Aerodyne Searey are both designed in Florida to conquer land, air, and sea. Each airplane can be built as a factory light-sport certified or experimental homebuilt aircraft. These planes are perfect for STOL on both land and water.

In this video, the Searey is powered by a 115hp Rotax 914 turbo, and the Aventura II has a 117hp Aeromomentum AM15 Suzuki conversion. Both airplanes have luxury interiors, Garmin glass avionics, landing lights, and redundant pitot systems with the WingBug. Both have electric flaps and landing gears. And both are built for pure FUN.
