Other Tidbits:

The band certainly didn't skimp on the confetti.. lol. The stage and the front rows were covered in a pile almost a foot deep.

In addition to the confetti, OK Go also had an elaborate electronics show. For some songs, a screen was draped in front of the band and various videos were projected on it. However, since I was in the 1st row, it was difficult to view the projections.

The band also interacted and joked a lot with the fans who yelled out to them.

Damian: I will allow you to ask two questions... Alright, who's got the first question? (points to someone)
Fan: We've missed you! Where have you been?
Damian: Everyone shut the f*ck up, I can't hear.
Fan: We've missed you! Where have you been?
Damian: OK, first of all, that's dangerously close to a statement... :P

(The last time the band performed in SF was 2012)


The band tried to record the audience clapping, stomping and hissing on an app, then use the sounds as the background music for 'There's a Fire'. Kulash said that this was only the 2nd time trying this, and the first time (at The Assembly in Sacramento) ended up being a 'miserable failure'. Unfortunately, technical difficulties resulted in largely the same thing happening again. So after finally giving up, Damian and Tim sang a duet from Les Misérables instead. :P
