This is my (John Van Stan's) audiobook production of a public domain text, The Discourses of Epictetus (a stoic/cynic philosopher). These are notes from Epictetus' lectures, written by his student Arrian of Nicomedia. Selections of this have been cut out to make "The Enchiridion" and "Golden Sayings" (which are more often read).
