Wolfgang Van Halen will ever participate in the Best Of All Worlds tour. Claims sammy hagar.
Hagar told Trunk that Wolfgang is always welcome but is currently focused on his own career, traveling the world and performing. Hagar hopes their paths will cross at some point. He is determined to continue the tour, taking it to Australia, South America, and Europe.
While there were initial doubts about Satriani being the right choice for the tour, Hagar later stated that Satriani understands Eddie Van Halen's music better than anyone. Michael Anthony’s return was well-received, though there is still disappointment over the absence of Alex Van Halen. Hagar admitted that Alex doesn’t seem interested in playing with others, still mourning the loss of his brother Eddie. Hagar said he had reached out to Alex multiple times but received no response, adding that Alex selling his drum kit signaled that he’s not ready for a tribute.
Despite past conflicts, Hagar said David Lee Roth is still welcome to join the tour, saying he’d love for Roth to perform "Jump" at the end of a show. Although Wolfgang is busy with Mammoth WVH, Hagar feels that a guest appearance from him is the most likely scenario out of all the possibilities.
