Healthy relationships are possible!

And they start by understanding your Relationship Programming… And taking steps towards Reprogramming.

Relationship Programming is the term I use to describe how our upbringings impact our relationships in adulthood (book coming on this soon, I promise!!).

The ways that our caregivers consistently interacted with us (whether nurturing, present, and attentive OR chaotic, neglectful, and abusive… and everything in between) sets the stage for what we come to believe is “normal” in our other relationships.

We are products of our environment… and the interesting thing about programming, is that we have no clue it is happening… it’s these consistent messages day in and day out throughout childhood that create our belief system around how we should expect others to treat us, what healthy communication and conflict resolution looks like, and if we believe we are worthy of someone showing up for us.

It is crucial that we all have awareness around our own Relationship Programming, as this is the only way we can start to heal and engage in the process of Relationship Reprogramming… which influences the relationships we now choose as adults and how we show up in these relationships.

Even if the current chaos and/or discontentment you are experiencing in your relationships is all you’ve even known… It is NOT the way it has to be.
