Detailed view of how to turn off the stability controls on a 2016 Lexus GS F to take complete control of, and responsibility for, the car. This is also called the pedal dance on the IS F, but the GS F is more challenging simply because the parking brake is computer controlled, not a simple wire operated mechanism with a single switch interface to the skid control ECU.
If you plan to take your car to the drag strip, you'll really want to make this work. Also, you can only do this while the car is stopped and the seat belt is connected, but if you disable the stability controls and do not drive the car, it will stay in this mode until you drive it somewhere which might be helpful at the strip as well.
This mode disables more controls than anything else - a short or long press on the button to disable the traction control does not turn off as much functionality as this does, and it actually puts the skid control ECU in test mode.
As always - what you do with these controls turned off is your business. If you are not familiar with driving a nearly 500 hp car without nannies, you could find yourself in a difficult spot pretty easily, so be safe, have fun, and don't blame me if your driving fails you.
